Collection: Shut Skateboards
SHUT Skateboards is pure New York skate history. Founded in 1986 by Rodney Smith and Bruno Musso, SHUT emerged from NYC’s streets with boards built specifically for street skating at a time when California and vert still dominated the industry. With an early crew that included Jefferson Pang, Sean Sheffey, Jeremy “Bobo” Henderson, Chris “Dune” Pastras, and Felix Arguelles, SHUT helped establish the identity of East Coast street skating and laid groundwork that would later lead to Zoo York.
Today, SHUT’s legacy continues alongside new releases and reissues celebrating the brand’s history. Sidewalk Distribution’s Heritage Collection brings classic SHUT graphics and shapes back to shops, including special releases honoring the brand’s 40th anniversary—keeping a crucial piece of NYC skateboarding history under your feet instead of behind glass.
