The Chico Stix Wolf/Strawberry Moon deck is a unique collaboration between legendary San Francisco skater Chico Brenes and artist Christopher Robin Duncan, transforming a six-month natural exposure experiment into skateboard art.
Beginning with the Wolf Moon in January 2025, seven of Chico’s personal boards were wrapped in colored fabric and placed in his childhood backyard in Daly City, California. They remained exposed until the Strawberry Moon in June, allowing the sun, wind and rain to naturally bleach and alter the fabric around the contours of the boards—without chemicals or photo emulsions.
The resulting artwork became the distinctive top and bottom graphics featured throughout this special Chico Stix series.
